Your Core Responsibilities
As a visionary European Marketing Manager, you will spearhead our marketing initiatives from our Parisian office. This role is integral to expanding our brand’s recognition and presence across European markets. You should be highly adept at crafting compelling narratives, keen on driving technological adoption in healthcare, and passionate about making a tangible impact for surgeons and their patients.
We are specifically seeking individuals who would be considered ‘Resourceful Generalists’, a candidate who has a strong grounding in Marketing but a willingness to learn and develop across multiple other areas, are highly adaptive, and a passionate personality. Your Day-to-day Activities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the execution of top-tier marketing strategies that synchronize with our overarching business goals, tailoring approaches to diverse European markets.
- Brand Champion: Elevate Moon Surgical's brand by ensuring consistent and powerful messaging that resonates across all channels, in line with global brand guidelines.
- Insight-Driven Marketing: Utilize both qualitative and quantitative feedback to adjust narratives, and communication strategies for OUS Geographies.
- Innovative Product Marketing: Collaborate with our R&D and Product Marketing team to build compelling narratives around new and existing product offerings, ensuring they address real clinical needs and stand out in the marketplace.
- Holistic Campaign Management: Build, manage, report, and adjust comprehensive marketing campaigns utilizing an array of channels, from digital to traditional, ensuring they engage and inspire action.
- Event Planning and Management: Lead the conceptualization and execution of high-impact events, including, conferences, and Moon-hosted events or webinars, that amplify our brand and facilitate direct engagement with our target audience.
- Content Creation Excellence: Oversee the production of captivating marketing materials that communicate value effectively to various stakeholders, from healthcare professionals to nurses and hospital administrators.
- Empowering Channel Partners: Provide robust support and insights to sales teams, enhancing their capacity to meet sales targets and improve market penetration.
- Budget Mastery: Manage and allocate marketing budgets with precision, ensuring optimal use of resources for maximum return on investment.
- Regulatory Adherence: Guarantee that all marketing efforts are compliant with local and EU regulatory standards, maintaining Moon Surgical’s reputation for integrity and quality.
- Frequent Travel: Embrace the opportunity to travel approximately 25% of the time, connecting with teams and stakeholders across Europe to align efforts and foster relationships.
How You’ll Fit In
The candidate for this role will report to the Director of Product Marketing. This role offers the opportunity to launch and scale European Marketing activities and will provide a foundation of learning and experience that will set this individual up to be a competent highly successful future leader.
🧠Qualifications, Skills & Attributes
- A minimum of 5 years in a marketing role, preferably within the medical device or medical SAAS sector.
- Preferably experienced at working in a start-up environment and comfortable working across various departments.
- Master's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field, with a strong understanding of the core principles of marketing.
- Demonstrated ability in crafting and implementing wide-reaching, multi-channel marketing strategies.
- Expertise in managing high-profile events from inception to completion.
- Fluent in English and French; proficiency in additional European languages is highly advantageous.
