Job Description Overview
As Product Manager for Maestro, you will own the end to end product lifecycle for the AI powered surgical platform and its associated accessories. This role translates commercial, clinical, technical, and operational insights into clear customer requirements and a product evolution plan that drives increasing customer value and commercial success.
You will partner closely with surgeons, hospital stakeholders, and commercial and quality teams to synthesize market insights into clear product requirements. Working with engineering, clinical, regulatory, and operations teams, you will own the configuration and prioritization of product updates, making deliberate trade-offs across customer value, development effort, cost, and regulatory impact to drive meaningful, scalable improvements to the Maestro platform.
This role plays a critical part in shaping the Maestro Ecosystem and supporting Moon Surgical’s drive to build the operation room of the future.
Core Responsibilities
Your Day-to-day Activities
- Own end-to-end product lifecycle management for the Maestro platform and accessories, from concept and requirements through development, launch, post-market support, and end-of-life planning.
- Own and evolve the product roadmap, making disciplined prioritization decisions that balance clinical value, customer impact, technical feasibility, regulatory requirements, and business priorities.
- Lead voice-of-customer activities with surgeons, OR staff, and hospital administrators to identify unmet needs, workflow challenges, and adoption barriers.
- Synthesize inputs across channels, including direct user feedback and insights from sales, marketing, and the field, translating them into actionable and achievable product improvements.
- Partner closely with engineering, R&D, and design teams to guide design trade-offs, allocate improvements across releases, and ensure milestones are met.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, and Operations teams to support design controls, risk management, usability engineering, evidence generation, and compliant product execution.
- Lead Maestro program execution, including ownership of product discussions in program meetings, prioritization of release content, and tracking delivery against plans.
- Support new product introductions, ensuring launch readiness, internal enablement, and alignment with commercial and field teams.
- Contribute to the broader Maestro ecosystem, including software capabilities, data products, accessories, and integrations that expand platform value.
- Communicate progress and decisions clearly by reporting status, risks, and trade-offs to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
