🎉 The Role

Your Core Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Leader will be closely cooperating with Moon’s Operations (Manufacturing, Field Service), Quality and R&D organization, managing Material, Inventory and Logistics processes to ensure Moon’s seamless operations. Tactically, this role will be deeply involved in dynamic and global purchasing and logistics activities for Moon’s capital and disposable product lines. In addition, the Supply Chain leader will be a major stakeholder driving cost efficiency projects for Moon. Strategically, this role will be managing the architecture and introduction of new business systems supporting purchasing, material management, and logistics.

Your Day-to-day Activities

Day-to-day activities will be a mix of strategic supplier management and supplier evaluation, procurement/planning as well as warehousing and logistics. Typical activities will include:

• Demand Planning and Inventory Balancing
• Development of Commercial and Service forecasts
• Obsolescence and safety stock countermeasures
• Sourcing
• Establishing and managing credit terms with new or existing suppliers
• Maintenance of item master information
• Negotiation of pricing
• Execution of purchase orders and coordination of delivery schedules
• Inventory reporting as required with Finance
• Warehousing and Logistics
• Optimization of inventory space and utilization
• Identifying partnerships with third party warehouse and logistics providers
• Supporting Operations teams with supplier issue resolution or nonconformances
• Coordinating outbound deliveries in support of commercial placements
• Strategic projects
• Key contributor in the selection, configuration, implementation and test of business systems (purchasing, ERP/MRP, etc.)

How You’ll Fit In

You will report to the Chief Operations Officer, and work closely with Ops, Quality and R&D teammembers.

🧭 Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word) including light automation and process improvements
• 5+ years in supply chain management strongly preferred, startup experience a plus
• Management of contract manufacturers is a plus
• Strong organization skills (paper and digital), with attention to detail
• Clear communication and ability to build relationships (internal and external) Prior ERP/MRP selection or implementation experience strongly preferred
