🎉 The Role
Vice President of Marketing
The Vice President of Marketing at Moon Surgical will be responsible for developing and guiding the overarching marketing strategy, managing a high-performing team, and ensuring the successful positioning and awareness of Moon Surgical products across both U.S. and international markets. This leader will work cross-functionally to drive market adoption, execute effective commercial strategies, and establish Moon Surgical as a leader in the surgical robotics space.
Your Core Responsibilities
As VP of Marketing, you will oversee the Director of Product Marketing, Director of Product Management, and the U.S. Marketing Manager, ensuring alignment and execution of strategic initiatives. Your leadership will drive awareness, engagement, and commercial success of Moon Surgical’s innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that supports commercial objectives, brand positioning, and market expansion across the U.S. and OUS markets.
- Team Leadership & Development: Manage, mentor, and support the Directors of Product Marketing, Product Management, and the U.S. Marketing Manager, setting clear goals and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Go-To-Market Execution: Oversee product launches, ensuring that messaging, positioning, and sales enablement tools are optimized for maximum commercial impact.
- Brand Awareness & Market Positioning: Develop and execute strategies to increase awareness and credibility of Moon Surgical’s products in key markets, ensuring the company is positioned as an innovator in surgical robotics.
- Sales Enablement & Customer Engagement: Work closely with sales leadership to provide the tools, training, and insights needed to drive customer engagement and adoption.
- Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform decision-making and refine marketing strategies.
- Stakeholder & Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Product, Sales, Regulatory, and Clinical teams to align marketing efforts with broader business objectives.
- Public Relations & Communications: Oversee PR efforts, including media engagement, conference participation, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Performance Measurement & Optimization: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data-driven insights to continuously improve marketing strategies and execution.
